This multi-purpose launcher has the ability to deter animals from a distance and provide effective signaling with various flares. It’s small profile and compact cartridges easily slip into a pocket or bag for any wilderness occasion.
Outfitting the Pen Launcher with a Bear Banger or Whistle cartridge provides effective animal scarring while keeping you safe from a distance. Commonly used on bears, cougars, coyotes, birds, elk and other animals.
Need to get someones attention? The flare cartridges are visible for up to 3 km during the day and an impressive 12km at night.

The Thumb Level Model works by pre-cocking the firing pin into a safety notch allowing for simple one handed operation.
